High School Seniors rock. No lie. They are fun, experimental, beautiful, poised and just so very photogenic. Every one of them. Here’s a look at the last 20 days of high school seniors I’ve been working with. I have several more sessions to come later in September, so stay tuned!
Kayla. Beautiful. Her vision of cowgirl boots and a dress in a field had me looking forward to this session. And with surprising weather resulting in some awesome gray cloudy skies, I captured some amazing moments. This was such a cool session.
Donnie. I am biased a bit, because he’s my brother. But I am so proud of the fact that he is looking forward to a career as a firefighter. That he is brave enough and committed enough to risk his life to save the lives of others. Obviously this was a focus for the senior pics. And I think we got some pretty “sick” stuff (in Donnie’s words, not mine!).
Nicky. Fun, sweet, daring enough to be boosted into a tree for a photo. Accommodating enough to let me pose her in the most interesting places. Basketball was a focus towards the end, because she’s played for so many years. A really great session.
Molly. Poised and elegant. Quiet and super pretty. She was a delight to work with. From the studio to the forest, with the dog and braving the rain (hence the umbrella), this was a really fun session for me! Especially because, post rain, the forest just lit up with beams of sunshine that I was able to capture in the photos.
Charlotte. Energetic and spirited. Creative and musical. Friends (especially her bff) were very important for her to have in her session. So was the flute. And her dogs. And swimming (because she has been swimming since she was a child). So from studio to park to backyard to pool this whirlwind session was high energy and yielded some really cool images!
