Ok – so who knew a “turning two” birthday party could be so much fun? I bounced in the bouncy castle, ate Thomas the Tank Engine Cake, and got to photograph some really adorable children! Most especially I love the ones of these girls. Best friends? Yes. Can you tell? The first photo (an out-take for sure) had them tangled in each other’s hair and yelping, trying to get settled enough to smile (I left this one off, to protect the innocent). But smile they did! And these are especially poignant because, military life being what it is, this is their last summer together in V. So these pictures are meaningful, but also soooo cute. Gotta love em.
