I am a foodie. I look for fabulous restaurants as part of every vacation plan and relocation, I love to shop at local and fresh-fare markets, and I am totally willing to pay a little bit extra for organic or hand made or gourmet. And I love to cook. And, oh yeah, I also love to take images of everything. So when you lure me in with a home-made pasta demo, the ability to photograph it and then the invitation to eat it, I’m there.
And let me tell you, if you haven’t ever had fresh pasta, you absolutely are missing out. This fettuccine was the best I’ve ever had, because it was made minutes before I ate it. Deeeeliscious!
So maybe experiment with food this weekend – try a new and tasty restaurant you’ve been drooling over, cook from a special recipe, or maybe pretend you’re on “Chopped” and buy some random ingredient and build a recipe around it. Whatever your pleasure, try taking a photograph of what you eat, cook, or buy and tweet insta fb googleplus it!
Psst – want a tip for better food photography? Find a window, turn off all additional light in the room, and turn the food item towards the light from the window. Shoot straight on or at an angle for more drama. Voila! : )
