Welcome to Western Ireland, part of my
Journey Through Europe from June 2008!
Ireland was not at all what I expected, though I can't say in what way.
The people were
very friendly,
the weather varied from sunny
and
warm
to rainy and overcast
(as you might expect)
and this made
for some
interesting imagery (though
frustrating
at
times)!
I was awed by the islands - who knew water could be that blue
in Ireland?
The cities were colorful and quaint, the Guinness was
plentiful, and history (and sheep) were everywhere.
