When I visit “home” I always like to utilize urban spaces for backgrounds and when I saw what Michelle, Brett and Braigh were wearing for their family session in downtown Easton, this nearby wall couldn’t have been a better color. Even though it was not late enough in the day for that “golden light” that I like to find, we ended up having some great back light when we moved to the fountain in Easton’s downtown center.
Easton is one of my favorite urban backdrops for destination photography sessions when I am in Pennsylvania. It’s got a very up and coming downtown with some really fantastic restaurants (like 3rd and Ferry Fish Market, Oak, Sette Luna and Maxim’s 22 to name a few), along with some awesome brick backdrops. It’s also home to the Crayola museum http://www.crayolaexperience.com/, which has some fun structures outside the main building for kids to play on. I’m super excited about the new Public Market (only a few years old) with some really innovative food stalls. If you haven’t made Easton a destination yet, you should!
