When it’s 100,000 degrees at the base of the mountain and the desert welcomes summer, we escape to higher elevations where the weather is fine. I totally loved getting to know Paige and Brandon during their couple’s session and then I was SO thrilled when they booked me for their Boston wedding in the fall. We decided that another engagement session was a great opportunity to honor Brandon’s military life and so he wore his uniform for the first part, and for their second look we headed to Windy Point for some epic mountain views and sunset. Click here to see those photos, which remind me of Knapps Castle in Santa Barbara!
I love love love the tall grasses, trees, bridges and general golden light of the pull offs on this beautiful drive up the mountain!
