I’m getting ready to launch my new High Fashion Senior Portrait website, and so I was thrilled with what Katherine brought to the table for her High Fashion Senior Session! It fits my vision exactly!

I met Elyssa when I first moved to Valdosta and she was a sophomore at Lowndes high school where I was teaching an 8 week course for students interested in photography. She is an incredibly talented artist and photographer and is going to be attending SCAD in the fall! It’s no surprise that she brought a little of that creativity and a little bit of funky to our session! Loved the hat!! ; )

Alanah {just dance}

It always thrills me to work with dancers because they are, inherent to their craft, graceful and poised. Alanah was no exception. In fact, she was quite exceptional. Her personality, fun loving and sweet and maybe a little rebellious, came out in her choice of shoes and her color and verve showed up when she put on the tutu. Loved this session for all those reasons. And, no, I didn’t time the train, but I am surely glad it rolled through while we were photographing because it made for one fabulous moment!

Another dream of a session on my recent trip to Dayton! Peter, whose sister I photographed last year, was just as absolutely fabulous! I had such a difficult time choosing my favorites to share here. Whether casually dressed in jeans and a tee, leaning against a gratified wall, or dressed to kill in a pinstripe suit standing on a rubble pile, this guy surely turns heads. And he reminds me just a little of Shia Labeouf, no?

Loved having the chance to photograph Emily for her senior photos before her family moved away from Valdosta! It was a whirlwind getting it all done in time but I’m sure glad we did! thanks Emily – you rocked it!

this super senior session was part of the Goldsboro NC Shadows+Light Workshop from a few weekends ago : ) She rocked the session and was so patient as I explained and demonstrated various lighting scenarios from daylight to dark.

I really loved this early morning session with Eli! He had a great serious face and some amazing green eyes. Probably could be a model, no? : )
Thanks to MB for the willing friends with a great location! I definitely love urban outdoor, but it’s even cooler to be able to use an artist’s studio for the indoor portion.
