What does it mean to give back? It means something different to everyone. Donating time. Donating talent. Donating treasure. At my heart I’ve always wanted to help change the world, to help make it a better place, and nothing makes me happier than finding opportunities to use my photography and my creativity to do just that. My Fifteen Families Fundraiser is just that. And my chosen non profit this year is Megan’s House.
Your $100 donation will provide one child with one 24 hour day of respite at Megan’s House. That’s one day that a parent can have for themselves to rest and recharge. What better gift can you give? Photography by Jacquelynn Buck, a Valdosta-based portrait and wedding photographer, is donating 15 family portrait sessions from June-August to raise funds for Megan’s House, a respite home for children ages 0-17 who have developmental disabilities, autism, or are medically fragile.
Only 15 Valdosta sessions are available and the suggested donation is $100 per session.
The participating families will get one family portrait session and one fine art 8×10 print from their session plus 15% off any additional order placed with the studio.
Participating families can choose from one of the following:
1) A mother & child indoor studio session (black and white, 3 or fewer children) can be scheduled Monday-Friday from 10AM-4PM in June, July or August
OR
2) An outdoor family session, at a variety of downtown Valdosta locations, can be scheduled during the evening between 5PM and 730PM in June, July or August

At the time of the session, Jacquelynn will collect the tax-deductible check from the client and provide a tax exempt receipt from the Easter Seals of Southern GA.
