I love when I have the opportunity to photograph friends – mostly because it allows me to see a different side of them, and in some ways it allows them to see a different side of me as well – what I do and how I do it. I had so much fun with Rich and K.C. – good friends of ours who we spent a lot of time with when we lived in Dayton. The icing was that I got to use a location that I had been wanting to for a long time (Yellow Springs, OH) and do it in one of my favorite seasons (fall, in case you couldn’t tell). It totally didn’t hurt that they are a gorgeous couple with a cute though somewhat (ahem) yappy dog (sorry Riley! if only the squirrels didn’t antagonize you, right?).
