Ok, so first, why  “Fairytale Weddings?”  Well, you know, why not? Princes and princesses and happily ever afters. Pride and Prejudice and Beauty and the Beast and oh. Le Sigh. Yes a girl can dream. And, yes, I can do it here, with you! Oh my do I love me a wedding. The very best start to the very best part of the rest of your lives. And then there’s the mmmmm wedding cake. But that’s another story! For now, let’s just say that I cannot imagine a year going by when I do not have a wedding on the calendar. Weddings, for me, are the chance to bring out my philosopher poet romantic side (and as you get to know me, you’ll learn that this side of me is pretty dominant!). I cannot imagine a better way to spend a day than creating glamorous, sexy, creative, fun, totally unique images of two people ridiculously in love.

But here’s the catch, I’m not for everyone. And I don’t expect to be! And, ok, so I am a little outspoken, too! But really, that’ s just me saying that clearly there’s something about what I do and how I do it that isn’t just about business, but about being the right fit. This goes tenfold for weddings, I think. And this is how I roll  – based on personality, the art of what I do, and being the right one for you.

I always tell couples that this experience – this whole wedding thing – is so much more fun when you like your photographer. I mean, really really like her (or, ok, him). As important as it is to have outstanding photos, it’s actually even more important that the person taking them isn’t annoying you while doing it! I believe that finding the perfect wedding photographer is almost like finding your perfect significant other – you have to be friends first, have a relationship, hang out a little, and really get to know each other. So weddings – yeah, I love them. But I also love getting to know you – the you who you are, meeting the me who I am, and really getting to know what you want out of your wedding day. Anyway, if you’ve made it this far, thank you! I know there are so many wedding photographers in the world. But I also know, luckily, I might be perfect for someone. Maybe for you? Simply put, I am the boutique wedding studio you come to when you know that the experience speaks to you at a volume you can’t ignore. I am the photographer you come to when you know that you want those artistic, creatively lit, alternative, fun, simply gorgeous photos that “Uncle Harry” or your friend John or anyone else can’t give you. I want our personalities to mesh so that we might even be friends long after your wedding day cake has been consumed. I want to help you illustrate the story you’ll tell to your children about your wedding day. I want to be like that pair of jeans you wear when you know you want to look fabulous : )
