I am on a journey. I am following a passion. The way is littered with challenges, often unknown. But every challenge leads to another fork in the road and an opportunity for growth. As I twist through this maze of life I am trying to understand, and help others to understand, that what makes each of us unique - that what makes life, people, the world, the journey unique - is worth capturing. What is unique is beautiful - even that which we consider to be an imperfection. Maybe the imperfections are the point. In the end, I want to help people... to help them see life differently... to help them see themselves differently. And I believe that I can.

Camera in hand, I feel something is building. I photograph people. Life. Journeys. Places. I want to translate on paper that core that is each person, each city, that makes them who and what they are. And in the process help others to see life as I see it - differently.

I am drawn to the vibrant, bold and colorful, the unusual moments and the atypical subjects. The way I take a photograph, indeed, the way I see the world, is an expression of who I am - perhaps vibrant, certainly bold and maybe a bit colorful as well. Every photo is a part of me and a way for me to meaningfully record what I see, to capture a moment in time that will never be repeated.
