Sweet Home, Alabama: a wedding story!

Shooting a wedding with Irwin Funes Photography was tooooo fun! I’d never been to Alabama before, so there was that. But there was also the learning experience that comes from working with a like-minded professional in one of the best situations you can imagine – the celebration of love that is a marriage. I had an awesome time, was able to exercise some creativity, got to run around and feel what it’s like to be the second in command, instead if the in charge go to girl (oh the horror!) and also got to experience an outdoor wedding in the throes of the Alabama summer heat. Wowitwashot. So yeah, definitely all around amazing experience. Here are some images that were worth sharing. Enjoy! And if you’re interested in an Alabama wedding, near to the Mobile area and Gulf Coast – look him up! And I just might tag along. But if you’re having a sweet southern Georgia wedding, or maybe something in sunny northern Florida, or heck, anywhere at all (because, oh right, travel is my drug of choice)…you know where to find me (jacquelynn@jacquelynnbuck.com).

  • AmandaThese are BEAUTIFUL! I love the ones of the brides veil blowing in the wind and the ones of the bride and groom on the front porch at night.

    You are one talented lady.

  • AnonymousJacquelynn,

These images are breathtaking. The toning employed throughout – exquisitely tasteful. The table-top details and cake shots – some of the sharpest and most elegant I’ve ever seen. The expressions of the bride in her bridal portraits – timeless and beautiful. And the kids, oh that shot of the three kids – they look like they just stepped out of a Mark Twain novel; delightful.

Thank you for being a photographer.
