it’s always bittersweet to say goodbye, especially to a family who I’ve known and photographed for years. I met Rachel before she had Shafer, and then got to know her through her pregnancy and his first year. And then, when Grace came along, we had already relocated to Tucson. But I was able to capture them one more time on my last trip back to Valdosta. This session was taken literally the day they moved from GA, bags and trucks were packed, house was empty, and one last stop was Banks Lake for an epic family session.
