Tucson Desert Morning Maternity Photos

Tucson Desert Morning Maternity Photos are some of the best. Mornings in the desert are cool and fresh, and the sun is just barely cresting the ridge of the mountains and glancing off the desert flora and fauna. If there is one time of the day in the summer that I had to choose to photograph, it would be this time of day for me. And even though this session was photographed in October, there are still summer-like temperatures warming up our days. So mornings are still the best. Also I love incorporating the actual sun into the pictures as it’s rising during Tucson desert morning maternity photos. Sometimes I use my external Profoto lighting to create dramatic photos and sometimes I use my new Nikon Z5 to capture natural light. I love having two cameras and two different styles of lighting to use .

Also, this is one of my favorite Tucson desert locations for other kinds of portrait sessions. Family sessions at this location are perfect too. Or even high school seniors if they are willing to get up early. Pretty much everyone looks great against the neutral palette of the Tucson desert. Green and brown and gold and yellow and allll the wonderful colors of the unchanging riparian landscape.
