2013 Post Scriptum: I look back at the photos I took many years ago and sometimes I think “what was I thinking” and then I look back and sometimes see a glimmer of the photographer I’ve become. I don’t want to eliminate all traces of my early days, because they are still memories made, moments captured, and they serve as a historical road map that shows where I’ve been so I can be ever more proud of where I am today. So while some of the images you’ll see in posts that are not current are not currently my style, they serve to remind me that every memory is worth making, and that everyone starts somewhere. Life, love, joyous careers in photography, are all ever-morphing journeys. The important part is not forgetting where you’ve been, and even more so, not forgetting that there’s no such thing as having arrived.
On July 11th I spent the day with Kim and Matt as they entered into a state of wedded bliss. The wedding was awesome, the couple are amazing and totally into photography to the point where we ditched the reception for about 20 minutes to take advantage of the phenomenal sunset. Who could ask for more? : )
