Desert + Lake: Tucson Fall Family Photos

Ohhh Tucson Fall Family Photos at a location by the lake that also offers desert backgrounds are amazing! These kinds of blended locations can be the best of all worlds and sooooo much fun! This time of year (late fall) in Tucson the desert turns almost gold, like the colors of fall leaves. So it almost feels like we have the traditional colors of fall in our desert backyard! This family wore the perfect colors also to match the desert! I happened to have done M’s senior pictures earlier this year and I was really happy when the whole family wanted to do a family photo session with me a few months later. It was great on all fronts – perfect lighting, perfect clothing, perfect backdrop…and just the best family I could ask to work with!

When it comes to taking Tucson fall family photos, I often suggest locations to my clients based on what they love – do they love desert? Mountains? Nature? Cactus? Water? Grass? Urban? University of Arizona? Hiking? So many questions! But the answers can help me narrow down for them the best locations Tucson has to offer. I usually point clients to a previous session that I photographed and shared with them a link to it on my blog so they can see what some of the best locations look like, but I am also always open to new locations and love trying out places I haven’t been before! And while, in the end, it isn’t about the location as much as it is about the family – and celebrating family with Tucson fall family photos – the location is still important! And this one was perfect for this family!
