Mountaintop Maternity Session

This Mountaintop Maternity Session from Windy Point in late summer was SPECTACULAR. The colors E wore were absolutely stunning, and the tones of the mountain and the sky and the clouds and oh…. just everything was perfection. I am SO thrilled with these! And I cannot wait for the little one to arrive!!

As a side note, Profoto lights literally are my world these days. I don’t know how I would do some of these dramatic sunsets without reliable off camera lighting. I love mixing natural light and off camera light in my sessions for a totally different vibe, each one holding its own. In this session, I edited the natural light images to look like film, and edited the off camera lit images to look, well, like a magazine cover. I mean, how cool is it that you can look so totally serene and soft in one moment and like a queen ruling the world from your tower on the mountain in the next? Yeah, meet Erin. I think her kiddo is going to be a warrior.

Windy Point on Mt. Lemmon has the most iconic overlooks this side of Tucson. I loooove mountain top images and can’t wait to photograph a session at places like Knapp’s Castle near Santa Barbara or Laguna Hills which overlook the vast Pacific Ocean and all that endless blue water.
