High School Senior Pictures Tucson

High school senior pictures in Tucson?? Say whaaaaat? Do you have a Tucson high school senior looking for a spot of normal in a otherwise crazy life and COVID-filled senior year? Maybe senior pictures are just the thing to make everything feel, well, a little more like they should. Dancing in the desert, changing clothing in the car, standing amidst the Saguaros, twirling with intent to impress, dressed in formal wear in and tromping through the dirt – these are the moments worth celebrating. And these are the moments that pretty much sum up Jessie’s desert senior pictures.

Jessie and her mom came across my website when they were looking for a Tucson senior photographer online. They were traveling here from Michigan to visit a close friend and they knew that they wanted her senior pictures to be in Tucson with a landscape totally unique and different compared to what they have in Michigan. So they found me and we consulted on what might be the best Tucson location for senior pictures – and we chose Saguaro National Park West where the tallest Saguaros seem to be gathered together in one place. And, we created these incredible images.

Jessie decided to do three clothing changes, per my recommendation, and she went with white, blue and formal in turquoise. Her white look was perfect for the soft tones of the desert. Her blue look popped against the mesquite and cactus greens and browns. Both were so fun and flirty. But it was her turquoise spangled formal dress that stole the show. I made sure to create some dramatic photos with that look in the desert. Using Saguaros for silhouettes and studio lighting with my Profoto lights, some of the last few photos were among the best.
